July marks a new Mary Kay year! We’ve got an ambitious year planned that has a lot of exciting opportunities ahead- starting with my trip this fall! At the request of Martha Kay Raile, Future Senior National Sale Director, I’ll be visiting 7 cities to open up new areas for us to work with. So far, I’m planning on St. George, LA, Reno, somewhere in Arizona, and somewhere in Tennessee.
I’m very excited to meet new people and set up a network of mentors all around the country who are there to help improve the lives of women around them. It is a huge privilege to be able to take this trip.
My goals for the next year are ambitious, and I think it’s going to be great for everyone! The theme for this year is “The road to Beijing, China”. If our unit can meet our goals, I’ll get to drive a Mary Kay pink Cadillac and go to China with my husband!
If we meet our goals and become a Cadillac unit, our entire unit will get extra special treatment at Mary Kay events! Mary Kay is very good about rewarding hard work by pampering and giving out all kinds of goodies, so let’s all work together to be the best we can! If we make and keep our goals, we will prove to our peers and to ourselves that we are able to be on task and excellent!
As a side note, my son comes home in a week and a half! Elder Nathaniel Anderson gets back from his two-year LDS mission in Seattle, Washington so so soon! I’m so excited! That boy is going to get the hug of his life!

Million Dollar Mamas: July Calendar!
Hi everyone! I want to take some time today to talk about
the training events that I hold every Tuesday for Million Dollar Mamas! I like
to invite our team to my house every Tuesday in order to focus on certain specialties
that we apply as part of our sales.

Here are some upcoming meetings:
July 10th will be our “Dash out the Door-
Looks with Color” night. We will be going over the best ways to get ready for
the day if you only have five minutes! (We’ve all been there!)
July 17th will be our Slipper Party! Come in
your favorite slippers. We’ll be having a little contest for best slippers, and
there will be a prize!
July 24th is going to be “Event Glamour”
night. We will be going over some of the fun makeup essentials for looking
fabulous- like highlighting and foundation placement. We’ll also be going over
natural, career, and glamour styles!
July 31st is “Pedicure Night”! I want everyone
to bring a friend! In fact, it’s mandatory! We’ll be doing pedicures on
everyone there, and you will win something if your friend
buys any product!
These meetings are a great time to learn about our
products, get pampered, and have fun- so be there! I look forward to these each
week!

Mystery Star Night this Fall!
Hi everyone! Let’s talk about our upcoming Mystery Star Night we’re going to be throwing this fall! Just as a refresher, Mystery Star Night is a party we like to throw about once a quarter to celebrate those ladies who meet goals with our organization. It’s a way for us to take a break and enjoy the successes we have found.
This fall, we’re going to have our event at Daniel’s Summit Lodge, located up Daniel’s Canyon. More details to come, but we are going to have food and entertainment and fun for everyone there. You definitely don't want to miss it this quarter!
I personally like to encourage people to set and meet goals because it makes us all more productive- and it also creates an amazing sense of satisfaction when you reach them! I want to encourage everyone to do their best with it! I know everyone is unique and has different strengths to share, so press on!
It’s not a quick fix for anything, but if you stick with it and meet your goals, it is very rewarding! After 20 years in this business, I can personally attest to this!

Bold Lips Are In. How Do You Wear Yours?
Hi ladies! Bold lips are the go-to look this season,
which are sure to dazzle and impress. Bold lips accentuate and exaggerate your
appearance, giving you an outgoing and sexy look!
If you want to achieve this effect,
then you are going to want to follow some basic guidelines. You want a smooth
even coat which adds contrast and color. Here are some guidelines for you!
- The colors that are going to look best are red, pink, orange, and purple.
- Consider the lighting of the situation. If you are outdoors, go with a softer hue. If it is darker, go darker to accentuate features.
- Avoid the really deep reds if you have thin lips. It may actually make them look thinner.
- Avoid playing up your eyes. Use light eye makeup so that the effect is not overwhelming.
- Do not use lip liners of the same color. It may create a bit of a bleeding effect that you don’t want.
- Coordinate you lipstick and blush in order to get the best look possible.
- Be precise! You will want a steady hand and an accurate application at all times! If you are going to go bold with your lips, take the time to do it right!
Part of the fun of having bold lips is mixing and
matching and finding the look that will look best for you! We’re all different,
so style needs to match the effect that you want. Have fun playing with the
colors and get stunning results!

Courage Reins Fundraiser!
Hi everyone! I’d like to chat for a minute about an
upcoming event that I’m very excited about! On June 26th, I will be participating
in a fundraiser for Courage Reins, one of my favorite organizations. Courage
Reins provides a therapeutic, fun, and safe place which encourages cognitive
and emotional and physical growth. I am personally a rider for the
organization, so this is a cause that is near and dear to me!
On the 26th, I will be throwing a special
pampering event for those who come out. The Pampering event is free, and I will
be introducing the latest Mary Kay skin care and coloring!
Should you choose to buy from me, then I’ll have the
product on hand, or have it to you the next day! 40% of my profits are going to
Courage reins, so I’m hoping for a great turnout! Buy one item, and the second
will be half off!
Another great thing about the fundraiser is that Sarah
Nitta is going to be speaking! Sarah is running for District 27, and is a
candidate that I wholeheartedly support. She is a force
for positive change who will be able to get us results!
The fundraising will be going on from 3:00 PM- 8:30PM at
Courage Reins. It’s going to be an awesome time, so I hope to see a lot of you
there!
For more information about Courage Reins, please visit
their website at www.couragereins.org.

Fundraising for Sarah Nitta
![]() |
Sarah Nitta for Utah's 27th Legislative District |
Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a minute to talk
about my fundraising efforts for Sarah Nitta! Sarah is one of the candidates
for House District 27. She is someone who understands the important parts of
politics and how to make a positive difference in our system. She is a very
qualified individual who has a great deal of experience working with the GOP at
both a local and state level.
Sarah is a grassroots conservative who believes that the
simplest solution is the best when it comes to the issues we face in Utah. Her
primary areas of focus in her campaign are securing the funds we need in order
to better our schools, as well as creating more jobs and shrinking the local government.
We need to shrink the government as much as we can in
order to grow our local economy. Whenever there is unnecessary government involvement,
it simply adds more red tape and drains more funds from what is important.
When it all comes down to it, it is the people who matter! Creating jobs and improving
our schools directly benefits the people more than anything else. We have a great place to live, but we can still make changes in
order to make it extraordinary! By improving our schools and creating jobs,
Sarah’s campaign can streamline things where it counts for everyone.
For more information on how to contribute to Sarah’s
campaign, please email me.
Every dollar counts! Sarah is right for the job and needs
all the support we can give her! I’m proud to give her my support and my vote.
Thanks!
